About the Center

Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Center. For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program.

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. For more information about the Kumon Reading Program.

Monthly tuition is $150 per subject

One-time registration fee of $80 and one-time material fee of $30.

Class Schedule

·      All students are recommended to attend two scheduled sessions per week.

·      Please arrive on time to your scheduled class time; if you missed your session you can pick up the work to complete at home. We do not offer any make-up class.

·      We are open the following days and times

o  Monday 3:00pm-7:00pm    |      Thursday 3:00pm-7:00pm

Center Study Session

·      No cell phones, games, music, food or drinks are permitted in the Kumon Center

·      Please keep the lobby quiet with soft conversations only

·      Please take all cell phone calls outside the center

·      It is important that you stay in our lobby so you can pick up your child immediately after their class.

Parent Communication

·      Ms. Keyuri Patel welcomes communication and encourage parents to ask questions about their child’s progress. Please call or email the center during office hours (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) or schedule a in-person meeting or parent conference.

·      Only students may enter the Kumon student area. During the Kumon Center session, please leave a note regarding your comment, question or request. Ms. Keyuri is unable to answer any questions during class hours as her #1 priority is to instruct the students.

Vacation/Absence Policy

·      Please call the center prior to class if your child will be absent and to arrange for the work to be picked up.

·      Please give one week notice if planning for a vacation or absence to allow time to prepare work.

·      Kumon is a year-round program. Students absent for more than one moth during a calendar year will have to re-register and pay the registration fee again.

·      Fees stay the same regardless of taking days off or being absent. It is recommended to take homework even during vacation times and will automatically be assigned during holiday breaks unless notified by a parent.
