About Your Instructor

JASBIR SIKAND

My name is Jasbir Sikand, and I am the Instructor at the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Lake Mary. I opened my center in 2013 after seeing the benefits in my daughter Anusha, who was enrolled at a local center for several years. I have a Master's Degree in English Literature and spent most of my career in education, from teaching math and reading to elementary and middle school students to working in the Medical Education Department at Orlando Health.

After seeing how much my daughter developed through the Kumon program, I was inspired to open my own center to help with the development of even more students in the Lake Mary area. For the past four years, I have enjoyed serving as a judge for a statewide science and technology competition for middle and high school students.

I look forward to meeting with you and helping your children achieve their full potentials!

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
