About the Center

Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Center of Leominster, Massachusetts. For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

Tuition and Fees

Policy

1.      Upon enrolling, your registration fee and 1^stmonth tuition is due. We process tuition on the 1^st of the month.For example, tuition for January is charged on January 1^st.

2.      Tuition is non-refundable once a student has started receiving work assignments for the month.

3.      We accept EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer). We don’t accept cash and debit cards payments.

4.      If payments are received after the 5^thof the month, a $20 late fee must be included with your payment.

5.      If the  EFT is rejected, your account will be debited the amount of payment plus the state-allowed fee.

6.      If you wish to discontinue Kumon, you must let us know in writing by the 15^th of the current month to stop payment for the following month.

CLASS  SCHEDULE

-         Each scheduled session is based on student ability and worksheet level (approximately 20-30 minutes per subject)

-         All Kumon students are recommended to attend two scheduled session per week.

 

CENTER STUDY SESSION

-         Parents must wait for the child in the parent waiting room.

-         No cell phones, games, music, food or drinks are permitted in the Kumon Center

PARENT COMMUNICATION

-         Kumon instructors welcome communication and encourage parents to ask questions about the child progress. Call or email the center during office hours to talk to the Kumon instructor, to schedule a meeting, or parent conference.         

-         Only students may enter the Kumon study area.During the Kumon Center session, please leave a note, email or text your comment, question, or request.

              Monday and Thursday: 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

VACATION/ABSENCE

-         Please contact the center prior to class if your child will be absent and to arrange for the work to be picked up.

-         Please give one week notice prior to a vacation to ensure that your child’s Kumon work is prepared in advance.

-         There is no make-up sessions.

-         Kumon is a year round program. A student who is absent for more than one month during a calendar year must be re-registered and pay the registration fee to resume Kumon study.

CENTER CLOSINGS

-         Kumon centers follow public school decisions on whether to open/close for inclement weather.

-         Kumon is closed for all national holidays and during the last week of the year.
