About Your Instructor
Bruna Gill
Hi, I’m Miss Bruna, the proud Instructor and Director of Kumon of Pompano Beach - East. My Kumon journey began when I was very young, and I continued the program after moving to the U.S. Kumon gave me more than strong academic skills—it instilled in me the confidence and discipline that shaped who I am today.
From early on, I dreamed of one day owning a Kumon Center to help children reach their highest learning potential. That dream became reality after I completed extensive training and testing with Kumon North America, becoming a Certified Math and Reading Instructor. In 2025, I was honored to take over Kumon of Pompano Beach – East, which had been successfully serving families for 17 years under the Marujo Family.
I hold a B.S. in Biology and an MBA, and I spent seven years working in the higher education industry, where I deepened my passion for learning and student development. Today, I am committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students gain not only academic skills, but also confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Outside of Kumon, I enjoy spending time outdoors, crafting, and playing games ( I LOVE LEGO). I am also a proud mom to a wonderful daughter, who is currently enrolled in Math and Reading on Kumon Connect. Together, we love to travel, play games, and end our days with story time — a special tradition that helps us bond and inspires curiosity. I’m truly excited to continue building on the strong foundation of this center and look forward to partnering with your family to help every child shine.
