Hi there! I'm a Kumon Instructor, and for me, this isn't just a job—it's a joy! I've been opening up the world of independent learning for students since April 1st, 2013.
My biggest focus is creating a cheerful, supportive space where kids don't just get the right answers; they learn how to figure things out for themselves!
My Learning Lineage
I'm incredibly fortunate to have learned from the best! For over a decade, I was mentored by a retired Kumon Instructor who had an astounding 40+ years of experience under her belt. That depth of knowledge is the foundation of everything I do today!
My Role in the Center
Student Success Coach: I personally guide each child, teaching them the best study habits and boosting their confidence in both Math and Reading. Seeing that "lightbulb moment" is the best part of my day!
Progress Cheerleader: I keep a careful watch to make sure every student is working at their "just-right" challenge level. This means their progress is steady, smooth, and full of rewarding moments!
Team Mentor: I lead and train my fantastic team, ensuring they know how to accurately grade, gently support our little ones, and provide crystal-clear guidance whenever a student hits a tough spot.
I truly believe that independence is the greatest skill we can give a child. Let's start building that confidence together!
