Kumon Dewitt 30-Day Notice Cancellation Policy
We require written notice of your cancellation via email to [email protected]. Please note: Cancellations are not accepted by phone.
The 30 day cancellation reflects:
- In advance of the month ahead, we order supplies and secure staffing for our student’s use.
- As a franchise, each Kumon center owes royalties on each active student per month - adequate notice of cancellation ensures the center does not owe royalties on an inactive student.
- Typically, each child uses roughly 280 worksheets per month, which we not only order, but also spend time in advance in planning for your child’s use of them.
- The Summer and Strong Start programs are short-term study programs and not the standard use of the Kumon Method. Standard monthly billing occurs at the end of the terms of the promotional periods. Keeping track of billing dates is the responsibility of each family.
- There are no refunds and no future applications of a month for failure to properly notify of cancellation in advance of the 30 days.
