To our valued Kumon families –
In order to limit exposure to and spread of the COVID-19 Virus, we will be limiting our in-center class sessions to those taking Achievement Tests effective immediately through at least 4/6. We will continue our measures of cleanliness and hygiene for any of these potential limited class visits. Also, we will continue to closely monitor the situation and follow local and state guidelines. However, the center will remain OPEN and Kumon learning will still continue! We will provide homework pick-up and drop-off, and will also provide remote instructional support through phone calls. Also, we will arrange office hours in order to further accommodate individual instruction by request. Homework Pickup and Drop Off Guidelines –
Work will be placed in the absent bins on Mondays by 4:00pm, and will be organized by last name initial. Work can be picked up from here and leave completed work in the same folder. You are welcome to come into the Center if you have questions. Our goal is to limit crowds in the Center. Either Chellam or I will be here on Mondays and Thursdays until 7:00pm, and on Wednesday/Thursday until 6:00pm.
1 week of work will be provided, and please remember to drop-off completed homework when picking up. We also highly encourage parent grading at home during this time. This will provide your student immediate feedback and allow them to learn from correcting their mistakes right away. This will also allow your student to progress more quickly during this time when class sessions are limited or closed.
Please be prepared for further potential changes during this difficult time. We are here to support your students in continued learning and help them reach their full potential!
Thank you for your support and understanding!
