Introduction

Welcome to the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Maryland Heights. For more than 50 years, the Kumon after-school academic enrichment program has been helping children achieve success worldwide. The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Maryland Heights strives for the same success, motivating all of our students to perform at their highest potential. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve more, a love of learning and the motivation to learn on their own.

Policies

Class:
All students are scheduled in half-hour time blocks per subject (up to 1 hour). You will select your scheduled time with the instructor during the initial enrollment.

The Kumon classroom has to be a quiet study area so that everyone can concentrate.  Brothers, sisters, and parents are asked to stay in the waiting area. Please work quietly, and do not disturb the students.

Absences:

If you ever have to miss a class, the student’s work will be automatically placed outside of the front entrance in a weatherproof container. Families may come at any time to retrieve the missed work.

Communicating with the Instructor:
Scott and Chellam are available anytime outside of class hours during business hours (314-576-6600) or e-mail Scott at [email protected] or Chellam at [email protected].

During class hours, it is important for the instructor to focus solely on the students and running the class. For this reason, the instructor will not be available to meet nor take phone calls during class.
