Kumon is unlike any academic program you're likely to have experienced. At a Kumon Center, you'll find no smartboards and hear no lectures. Instead of passively receiving instruction from teachers or tutors, Kumon students actively develop self-learning skills. The unique, time-tested, Kumon Method enables students to reach their full potential. By beginning at a point where the kids are strong, we build an immediate sense of "I can do this" and then build up to concepts new or challenging to the kids. Many of our students have progressed to material beyond what they may have seen in school.

At the orientation, you'll find out how Kumon's unique approach to learning can help your kids:

• Master math and reading, often helping them earn their best grades ever
• Build study skills such as confidence, focus and work ethic
• Reduce homework stress and test anxiety

Your child/children will complete an assessment that will give you:

• Valuable insights into where they stand in their learning
• A recommended progression path that shows what your kids can achieve in their first six months of Kumon

The instructor will prepare an individualized lesson plan for your kids and support them as they progress through Kumon.
