About Your Instructor
Suparna Menon
Welcome to the Kumon of Lake Forest - North. My name is Suparna Menon and I am humbled to be your child's Kumon Instructor.
Prior to joining Kumon, I started my career as an education counselor, taking a break from my career to become a full-time mom of three kids. One is now in college pursuing a degree in Engineering, one is a high school senior, and one is in elementary school. I loved my time at home, raising my kids and devoting countless hours to volunteering at their schools. I immersed myself in the community by taking leadership positions in PTA at Cypress Elementary Irvine and Solis Park School, Irvine. Most recently, I have worked in Human resources as an IT recruiter.
At this point in my career, I wanted to continue my passion for educating and supporting kids, something that I had worked towards my whole life in different ways. And being a Kumon Instructor would help me achieve those goals.
Being a mom of three and a Kumon parent myself, I have always believed in giving kids a strong start and empowering them to be independent and resilient. My mission is to provide great personalized guidance to each child to help them grow and achieve their academic goals.
