About Your Instructor
Stanislaus Haribowo
Hello Kumon Parents!
My name is Stanislaus Haribowo, though most people call me Stan. As your child's Kumon instructor, I'm excited to share a bit about my background and how my experiences have prepared me to guide your child's learning journey.
For over 14 years, I worked as a risk management professional for major accounting firms and international corporations. In these roles, my core responsibility was to help organizations improve their systems, identify challenges, and develop effective solutions. Think of it like a detective for processes – always looking for ways to make things smoother, more efficient, and more reliable. These skills of meticulous analysis, problem-solving, and building strong foundations are exactly what I bring to the Kumon classroom.
I also have a long history of 25 years (and counting!) as a futures trader. This requires immense discipline, strategic thinking, and the ability to learn from every experience. It's all about consistent effort and understanding how small, consistent steps lead to significant results over time. This approach aligns perfectly with the Kumon philosophy of step-by-step mastery and building confidence through consistent practice.
Ultimately, my goal as a Kumon instructor is to help your child develop the same strong analytical skills, self-discipline, and confidence that have been central to my own career. I'm committed to fostering an environment where every student feels supported and challenged to reach their full potential.
