In 2007, while pursuing a degree in elementary education, I began working at Kumon with the goal of gaining experience to become a teacher. What I didn’t expect was how deeply I would connect with the Kumon Method. Over time, I realized that my passion was in the Kumon approach, and I decided to become a Kumon Instructor instead of pursuing a traditional classroom teaching career. In 2015, I proudly opened Kumon of Orland Park-West, and more recently, I expanded my role by taking on the responsibility of running Kumon of Oak Park as well. As a Kumon Instructor, I have the unique opportunity to tailor each student’s lesson plan, ensuring that every child receives the personalized support they need to reach their fullest potential.
