Center Closure:

Kumon of Oakley will be closed in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day, Monday, October 9.  Fall Break:  Kumon of Oakley will be open the first week of OUSD's fall break (October 2, 3, 5) and will be closed the second week (Tuesday and Thursday October 10 and 12).  Students will receive homework the week prior.

With individualized study plans, give your child the advantage of achieving strong math and reading skills.

Along with math and reading concepts, Kumon students develop important life skills such as time management and organization.  Students learn these good habits at Kumon and take them to school and beyond!

While a long-term commitment is necessary to fully reap the benefits of Kumon, you can expect to see signs of increasing test scores as well as better attitudes towards homework and academics in general within the first six months.

Kumon of Oakley and Kumon of Sacramento-Greenhaven Instructors, Mr. and Mrs. Shin, are parents themselves and  understand how to nurture excellent students.  With children at Stanford University and the University of California, San Diego, they understand what students need to be academically successful.  They bring this knowledge into their centers every day to help develop the full potential of each student in their respective communities.
