About the Center

Introduction

Welcome to our Kumon Math and Reading Center of Oklahoma City - North.

We are thrilled from the support we have received from our families and friends in the community! We look forward to working with students in the community to develop a love for learning that will help them reach their full potential!

We are conveniently located at the intersection of W. Britton Road and North May Ave.

For more than 60 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his or her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him or her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he or she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. Click here for more information about the Kumon Math Program.

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. Click here for more information about the Kumon Reading Program.

Policies

At our center, we work very hard to create an individualized lesson plan for your child.  We come up with learning goals for them and have many other things that we do for each student.  With this in mind, we do require a three-month commitment to attend our center.  Thank you for your understanding and helping us best help your child grow to their full potential!

Job Opportunities

  • We are always looking for new people to come and join our team!  It is a very rewarding job and is fun and fast paced!  We have employees that grade student work, sit and work with students, help prep student folders, and much more!   If interested, apply in center or send an email to Jessica Heinen at [email protected]!
