About Your Instructor

Seungik Park

During the decade that I taught biology in my home country of South Korea, I enjoyed the privilege of sculpting young minds . While teaching was my passion, a move to the United States prompted a career change for me. For the last ten years, I have owned and operated a convenience store at the heart of my community. Today, I have moved on to my next venture. As the new owner and Instructor of Kumon Math and Reading Center of Orchard Park, I am excited to combine my two passions: education and business.

Prior to opening this center, my wife and I had the pleasure of being Kumon parents to our youngest daughter. After having firsthand experience with how much Kumon has helped her academic development, we wanted to be able to share that joy with other families in our community.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
