Born and raised in India, she completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Social Work before discovering her passion for Special Education, a calling that ultimately brought her to the United States.
Driven by her commitment to supporting diverse learners, Khevna earned her second master’s degree in special education, followed by an Education Specialist degree and Principal License from the University of Colorado Denver. Her career spans both private and public-school systems in Illinois and Colorado, where she has served in roles including:
Department Head of Special Education / Learning Specialist in Douglas County and Cherry Creek School Districts
Assistant Principal for K–12 schools across both districts
Special Education educator supporting students in elementary, middle, and high school settings
Her extensive experience has allowed her to work closely with children of all ages, collaborate with families, and lead teams focused on student growth, inclusion, and academic success.
Khevna’s passion for Kumon began when her two children enrolled at a young age. Watching their confidence, independence, and academic skills flourish, she became a strong believer in Kumon’s philosophy and proven results. Inspired by her children’s success and her own dedication to lifelong learning, she chose to bring her expertise to Kumon, where she could make an even broader impact on students’ education and self-confidence.
Outside of her professional life, Khevna enjoys mixed martial arts, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
