About Your Instructor

Helen Li

Helen Li graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She has also completed 2 years of Master's level work in Theoretical Computer Science at MIT. After working for 2 years as a web developer, she decided to become a stay-at-home mom and homeschool her 3 children.

Helen has over 18 years of teaching and tutoring experience with students in early elementary through post-graduate levels. She has helped students go from struggling to thriving in their classes at school. She is passionate about fostering the love of learning and strives to help each student reach their true potential.

As a trained and certified Kumon instructor, Helen aims to use her experience and passion for education to help many more students. She looks forward to working with parents to provide a customized instruction plan tailored to their unique student.

In her free time, Helen enjoys cooking, traveling, and volunteering at church.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
