Austin Chao
I’ve been with Kumon for over ten years, and in that time, I’ve had the privilege of helping students grow into confident, independent learners. Watching a child progress from struggling to excelling (often surprising themselves along the way) is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I believe in the power of consistency and patience and the idea that every student can succeed with the right support and mindset.
Before joining Kumon, I worked in marketing and finance, which taught me how to think strategically and stay focused on long-term goals. I bring that same perspective into my instruction, encouraging students to work through challenges step by step, knowing that each worksheet is a building block for success. My goal is to help students not just improve academically, but also develop the confidence and self-discipline they’ll carry with them for life.
