Enrollment Process
Schedule a Parent Orientation and receive a FREE Math & Reading Placement Test for your child(ren).
The purpose of the Parent Orientation is to provide families with a thorough introduction to the Kumon Program, to clarify what the Kumon Method is, and to discuss appropriate progress goals for your child and review the results of the Placement Test. You may choose to enroll in Kumon only after the Parent Orientation has occurred.
Communication with Parents
Kumon information will be sent to parents with your child’s homework on a regular basis. Parent conferences will be held to discuss your child’s performance.
Conferences are by appointment only.

For tuition fees please contact the center directly.
If you decide to discontinue Kumon study, there is a thirty (30) day

POLICIES
Absence Policy
Class Absence: If a student is going to be absent on a scheduled class day, please contact the center 24 hours in advance. The student’s work will be placed outside of the front entrance in a container for your convenience.
Extended Absence: Corporate policy states that students may only be absent from Kumon study for one (1) month without re-registering. If students are absent for more than one (1) month, an additional registration fee will be charged, and a placement test will be re-administered to your child. Please let us know a week in advance if your child will be absent for an extended length of time so that we can discuss the options available. Kumon materials are available for students who are absent or on vacation. Any student, for whatever reason, who does not take any Kumon materials for one (1) month, even if they plan to resume Kumon study later, will be considered “discontinued”.
Kumon Study at Home
When students do their Kumon homework, it is strongly recommended that you:
1.
Build a routine at home. Schedule a specific time every day and a separate work area away from distractions. You may want to provide a digital clock.
2.
Complete only the worksheets assigned for that day. Students should not do more than the assigned homework per night as this can lead to poor performance, frustration, and a lack of motivation.
3.
Do not make any lesson plan changes. Each worksheet is assigned with a purpose in mind, so please do not modify the order of the assignments or how many pages are assigned each day.
4.
Be a cheerleader at home! Always encourage your child to do his or her best.
5.
Do not assist your child with the worksheets. Here at Kumon, we are building self- learning. We need you to support this at home as well. Encourage your child(ren) to use the skills practiced at the center.
