SHEILA PATEL

Sheila's passion for education stems from her own experience as a mom, wanting her children to become confident, independent thinkers. After seeing her daughters – Lyla and Anya develop a love of learning in Kumon, Sheila was inspired to bring the Kumon Method to children in the San Francisco Inner Richmond area. Her daughters have gone on to attend prestigious colleges, a testament to the effectiveness of her educational philosophy.

She opened the Kumon San Francisco Inner Richmond center in 2013. Sheila's center is consistently the best-reviewed Kumon center in the city, with most reviews praising the hands-on impact she makes with her students. Sheila holds a bachelor's degree in English Literature and History from the University of Bombay.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
