No Student Falls Behind, Every Step Builds Success.
In 2026, the zodiac year of the Horse symbolizes passion, strength, and forward motion. It represents independence, endurance, and the will to keep going no matter the obstacles. These values strongly reflect the kind of mindset I hope to nurture in every Kumon student I teach.
I grew up doing Kumon myself. At the time, I did not always enjoy studying, but I stayed with it. Looking back, the habits of persistence, focus, and self-learning I developed through Kumon became the foundation for a career that allowed me to travel the world as an engineer. More than ten years later, I can see how those early steps led to meaningful long-term success, and now I want to help the next generation build the same.
As a Kumon Instructor, I work to support each student at their own pace. I believe that no student falls behind when every step builds success. Even small daily efforts add up and build confidence over time. Whether a child loves studying or struggles with it, my role is to meet them where they are and encourage progress through consistency and care.
Much like the Horse, I want my students to gain the strength to run forward with purpose, the independence to take ownership of their learning, and the resilience to rise after each stumble. I work closely with families to build individualized learning plans and provide the guidance and encouragement every child deserves. Watching students realize “I can do this” is the most rewarding part of my work.
