About Your Instructor

Shantel Tiner

My name is Shantel Tiner and I am so excited for your child to join Kumon! I have a bachelor's degree in social work, and an elementary education certification. I taught for 7 years grades 2nd, 3rd and 4th, and delighted in children learning and growing into young adults. Teaching is certainly my passion, and I am so excited for my passion to have taken me to Kumon to help students learn and grow outside of the school walls.
