About Your Instructor
Faria Chowdhury
My name is Faria Chowdhury, and I am honored to serve as the Instructor of the Sanford–Seminole Kumon Center. I bring a strong passion for teaching and educational leadership to mywork. I earned my second Master’s degree in Educational Business Administration, obtained my middle school and high school teaching certification, and worked as an elementary school teacher.
With fifteen years of experience serving students in the Lake and Seminole County Public Schools, I have dedicated my career to helping children grow academically and personally. As a proud Kumon mom with hands-on experience working in Kumon, I understand both the instructor’s and the parents’ perspectives.
At my center, I create a structured and supportive environment where students strengthen their reading and math skills, build confidence, and develop independence as learners. Whether your child needs to catch up, stay on track, or move ahead, I commit to partnering with you every step of the way.
I proudly opened the second Kumon Center in Sanford to serve our growing community better. I look forward to building lasting partnerships with families and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our future leaders.
