LYDIA LEONG

I am Lydia Leong, Instructor of the Kumon Math and Reading Center of Cumming -South. I hold Master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology and Organizational Psychology, which have deepened my understanding of individual learning and development.
Before joining Kumon in 2004, I spent 16 years working with university students and professionals, helping them adjust to life’s challenges and enhance their performance. I also taught psychology at the college level. My experience with young adults and corporate employees highlighted the importance of mastering fundamentals. Many struggled academically or in their careers due to weak foundations, leading to frustration and setbacks.
With Kumon, I aim to help children build strong academic skills, paving the way for future success in higher education and their careers.
