Michael Spaulding
Director at Kumon of Sparks
At Kumon of Sparks, our students build confidence in math and reading by mastering step-by-step, level-by-level daily work. Our students become confident readers, memorize their addition facts and multiplication tables, and become ready for both high school literature and math, and beyond.
Leading the students and staff members is Mr. Mike, the Center Director. With more than 10 years of Kumon experience, a history of working in mentoring and tutoring programs, and degrees from University of Central Florida and Florida International University (and currently working toward his graduate degree at University of Nevada Reno), Mr. Mike has a broad understanding of and appreciation for education at all grade levels. He has had the opportunity to work with thousands of Kumon students over the years and to help successfully guide them toward their educational goals.
Mr. Mike lives with his wife, Nilloufar, and their two dogs. Their hobbies include bicycle riding, going to the movies, listening to books on Audible, and sometimes eating sushi. Mr. Mike also reviews local restaurants for fun on Google and dabbles in digital photography.
