THU NGOC (VICTORIA) TRAN
As a proud Vietnamese refugee, graduated with a B.S. degree in the U.S. with an extensive background in Computer Programming and Business Administration, Victoria Tran has always appreciated the importance of education for every personal and professional journey.
Over the past 17 years, Victoria has mentored more than 1,000 students across Stockton, one of the most diverse cities in America. Working hard to engage families from every walk of life, Victoria treats Kumon as an important opportunity for students to grow into intelligent, independent learners, succeeding both inside and outside the classroom.
Victoria’s passion for the Kumon Method began 25 years ago, as the parent of three young Kumon students. Inspired by their success in the program, she helped her husband open the Kumon Center of Manteca and then went on to take over from the Veteran and well-known Kumon Instructor Mr. and Mrs. Matsunaga, the Kumon Center of Stockton - West in 2008. Soon after, she opened the Kumon Center of Morada in 2011. After 13 years of operating Kumon of Morada, she decided to spend more time with family and concentrated on Kumon center of Stockton - WEST and the Kumon center of Morada was transferred to one of her main Assistant.
To this day, Victoria remains committed to making a positive impact on her community. She is especially proud of seeing countless students commit to Kumon for multiple years, study far above their grade level, and gain so much confidence in their own potential.
Victoria continues and implements the Kumon Methods to all her students' studies every day, which teaches discipline, builds character, independent learner, and problem solver. Her success is seen in her students’ confidence, high achievements in school and career.
