Richa Patel
Hi there! I’m Richa, and I’m thrilled to be the instructor here at Kumon of Utica. As the daughter of a high school teacher, I grew up in a home where education was always a central focus. My dad’s passion for teaching inspired me from a young age and instilled in me a deep belief that every child can achieve their best when they’re given the right support and encouragement.
I firmly believe that every child has the ability to succeed, regardless of the challenges they may encounter. To me, education extends beyond academic achievement; it involves fostering confidence, developing resilience, and cultivating a genuine, lifelong appreciation for learning. Supporting this kind of growth is at the core of my educational philosophy.
At Kumon, I focus on each child’s unique learning style. I believe in providing the right balance of challenge and support to help students thrive in math and reading, building a foundation that will serve them for years to come. My goal is not only to help them excel in their studies, but also to inspire them to approach learning with curiosity and determination.
