About Your Instructor
TAE KIM
Thank you for your interest in Kumon.
My name is Tony Kim and I have been a certified Instructor at Kumon of Wyckoff since 2005. Prior to opening my own Kumon center, I worked as an Assistant for 15 years at various Kumon centers including: Fort Lee, Dumont, Midland Park, Bergenfield and in Orange, NY. Watching students grow is one of my greatest joys.
I believe in the Kumon Method because in 5th grade, I had not memorized my multiplication tables and used the unique worksheets to improve my math skills. I was amazed how the Kumon Method enabled me to self-learn Trigonometry. My motivation and dedication to self-study, inspired me to attend Stuyvesant and Fort Lee High School. After graduation, I won a full scholarship to Rutgers University.
I look forward to helping students gain a solid foundation in Math/Reading that will allow them to pursue any path in life. In addition to my passion for education, I enjoy playing board games, learning new software programs, LARP, and using 3-D printing for toys/mechanical parts.
