About Your Instructor

Jewel Switzer

For the past 12 years, Jewel has been a dedicated elementary school teacher with the Peel District School Board. Her passion for working with children has been evident throughout her career. She began her journey in education as an Early Childhood Educator in a daycare and as a teaching assistant within the public school system. Jewel has also provided one-on-one tutoring services in students' homes, where she has honed her ability to support learners of all abilities. Her patience, commitment, and extensive experience, particularly with children with special needs, make her an exceptional educator.
