About Your Instructor

Samita Chowdhary

I completed my Ph.D. in Biology and received a Provincial Instructor Diploma from Vancouver Community College, Vancouver, and have been teaching at universities and colleges for roughly 12 years. I am highly motivated to contribute not only to the education of today’s younger generations but also to the community. I was introduced to Kumon through my niece, and it was through her study that I became interested in the benefits of early learning and the mastery of math and reading that students accomplish through Kumon. The skills students learn build a strong foundation for all other aspects of learning and life. I am grateful for the opportunity to now work with students to develop a love of learning, cognitive skills and confidence through the Kumon Program.
