Shahla Jafarzadeh
My name is Shahla, and welcome to the Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Hamilton – Fennell & Upper Ottawa!
As an educator, I have always been passionate about teaching and working with children. Over the years, my journey has been driven by a genuine desire to help students build confidence, develop strong learning habits, and reach their full potential. My Kumon journey began when I became a Kumon parent, where I witnessed firsthand the incredible growth and success my child achieved through the program. Inspired by this experience and my strong belief in the Kumon Method, I chose to dedicate myself to becoming a Kumon Instructor.
Working with students at the centre continues to reinforce my belief that every child has great potential when given the right support, time, and individualized instruction. Seeing their progress—not only in school but also in their daily study habits—brings me immense joy. Supporting students each day has truly become my passion.
As we say in Kumon, “There is never good enough; there is always something better.” With my background in education and ongoing comprehensive training as a Kumon Instructor, I am committed to continuous learning and growth. My goal is to help each student experience success and pride by discovering their full potential.
