Meet Ms.Neha — Centre Director & Chief Instructor
Because I believe every child can do more than they think they can.
As the Centre Director and Chief Instructor at Kumon of Mississauga – Dundas & Hurontario, my approach to education comes from a simple belief: children don't need someone to do the work for them; they need someone who believes in them, guides them, and gives them the opportunity to discover what they are capable of.
Before Kumon, I worked as a high school teacher, so I have seen firsthand what happens when children struggle with foundational skills. Sometimes, it isn't that a child can't do something. They simply don't know where to begin, don't have enough practice, or have lost confidence along the way.
That is one of the reasons I connected so strongly with the Kumon Method.
At our centre, I want children to develop much more than stronger Math and Reading skills. I want them to become independent learners who know how to approach a challenge, keep going when something feels difficult, and take pride in their own progress.
And sometimes, the most meaningful progress isn't reflected in a mark or a level.
It's the child who once said, “I can't do this,” and now says, “Let me try.”
It's the student who used to need constant reminders and slowly becomes responsible for their own work.
It's the child who finally reaches a level they once thought was impossible.
Those are the moments I celebrate.
I am also incredibly fortunate to work with a team of instructors who share this philosophy. Some of our team members were once Kumon students themselves, and seeing them now come back to support the next generation of learners is incredibly special.
For me, Kumon is not about rushing children ahead. It's about helping them build the skills, habits, and confidence to keep moving forward—at school and beyond.
So, when your child walks through our doors, I want them to know one thing:
We believe in you. And we're going to help you believe in yourself, too.
