About Your Instructor
Dipti Dhingra
My name is Dipti Dhingra, and I am the instructor at the Kumon Math and Reading Centre in Richmond Hill-Richvale.
My experience in education includes a Bachelor’s in Education and a certification from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) in Mathematics and English. I have been fortunate to have taught in three different countries; I have taught students of many ages in India, the US, and Canada - all with their own unique school systems. In addition to my educational background and work experience, I have completed the comprehensive training provided at Kumon University.
Kumon requires that all instructors complete a comprehensive training program. Throughout the program, we learn about Kumon's philosophy and methodology. We are also are updated on the latest trends and advancements in education and how they can be integrated into Kumon classrooms.
My goal as your child’s Kumon Instructor is to ensure that they continue to receive the highest standard of instruction while becoming strong independent learners. There is nothing better than giving our children tools and structure to be able to know how to study, adapt to the ever-changing world and become life-long learners. A strong foundation, a proper study approach and individualized lesson plans based on your child's pace are some of the many things that we work on while developing strong and confident students.
I would also like to share that I am a parent of two wonderful children who are also active Kumon students, and I see firsthand how the program benefits them.
