Raginaben Bhagat
Hi, I am Ragina. Education has always been a huge part of my life—it’s not just my career, it’s my passion. I have a Master’s Degree in Statistics, a Bachelor of Education in Math and Science, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Math, and Physics. I also hold a Saskatchewan Professional Teaching Certificate, which reflects my commitment to high standards and continuous learning.
I’ve been teaching for over 20 years in a wide range of settings—secondary schools, post-secondary institutions, and one-on-one tutoring. I’ve had the privilege of working with learners of all ages and backgrounds, helping them build skills, gain confidence, and reach their full potential. I also have experience in academic testing and assessment, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of how students grow and learn.
I chose to join Kumon because its approach really speaks to me. I believe every student can achieve great things with the right guidance, structure, and encouragement. Kumon’s self-learning model helps students build confidence, develop strong study habits, and take charge of their own learning. It’s also addressed many of the challenges I faced in traditional classrooms—like limited time for individual support and large class sizes. With Kumon’s personalized programs, I can give each student the attention they need to truly thrive.
As a Kumon Instructor, I’m here to help students not only build solid academic foundations, but also grow into confident, independent learners. My goal is to support every child in developing strong skills, a positive mindset, and a lifelong love of learning.
