Welcome to Kumon Vancouver - First Avenue, located at Unit 204, 2800 E 1st Ave, in First Avenue Marketplace at the intersection of Renfrew Street and East First Avenue. For over 65 years, Kumon’s after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. Our mission is to instill a desire to achieve and a motivation to learn independently in every child.
Since 2011, our center has been dedicated to strengthening students' math and English foundations. We proudly serve students from kindergarten to grade 12 from a variety of local private and public schools in the neighborhood.
At Kumon, students advance through the program at their own pace, with an emphasis on individualized learning to help them become focused, motivated, and self-reliant. We closely monitor each child’s progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to new concepts. Over the years, we have had the privilege of working with more than 4,000 students, helping them achieve academic success and confidence in their abilities. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, your child has the potential to achieve whatever they aspire to. We are committed to continuing our mission of educational excellence and supporting the academic growth of our community's children.
