I have been a Kumon Instructor since 2009. I believe strong results come not only from the Kumon Method, but from how thoughtfully and consistently it is implemented for each individual student.
At Kumon North Whitby, that philosophy is reflected in the standard we bring to every student's learning experience.

We thoughtfully plan each student's individualized program based on their ability, progress and goals. We closely monitor their work and make adjustments when needed, rather than simply moving students from one worksheet set to the next.
We also believe parents should understand their child's Kumon journey. Through ongoing communication and progress discussions, we help families stay connected to what their child is working on and where they are headed.
Behind every student is an experienced team working together to provide consistent guidance and support, while developing the independence that is at the heart of the Kumon Method.
My goal is for students to become more than stronger Math and Reading students. I want them to become confident, capable and independent learners who can take on challenges and experience the satisfaction of mastering something new.
