About Your Instructor
Lynn Cameron
I received my Diploma in Clinical Methods in Prosthetics & Orthotics. This allowed me to work as a paediatric prosthetist, where I fit children with artificial limbs. While this was an extremely rewarding career, I left the field to raise a family. During this time, I volunteered on many parent councils, in classrooms, and in my community at large.
I was also a Kumon Math parent, where I came to realize the many benefits my child received from the Kumon Method of Learning. Not only did my child develop strong math calculation abilities, he also learned the value of self-discipline, time management and the importance of persevering through challenges.
On a personal note, it is important to me that all children have a strong foundation in math and reading so that as they grow into adults, they have the confidence and ability to be successful in our increasingly technological world.
This value coupled with my exposure to the Kumon Method, past joy experienced working with children, and a passion for learning lead me down a path to opening my own Kumon Centre.
I look forward to helping your child achieve success, not just with their academics, but also with the many life skills they will develop as a Kumon student.
