About Your Instructor

Nester Tabita

Prior to opening my Kumon Centre of Calgary – Hawkwood Village, I gained 10 years’ experience of Kumon learning method at my previous Kumon center in Shanghai. I have had the opportunity to support the growth of many students through Kumon, supporting their development into perseverant, strong self-learners.
Pursuing my passion for education and my love of working with children, I recently graduated from Bow Valley College in Early Childhood Education and Development as an ECE, adding to my previous bachelor's degree in economics. I have been fortunate to travel a long journey and have lived in three different countries with different cultures, and now I am excited to serve the diverse children in the community.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
