Samina Muqarab
I am so proud and humbled to be a part of my very dear students’ Kumon journey. My experience with the Kumon Program began in 2015. Many of my friends have seen substantial benefits by enrolling their children in the Kumon Program. My children made excellent progress as well when I enrolled them in Kumon. By seeing the tremendous benefits it provides to children first-hand, I have become a strong believer in the Kumon method and its philosophy. My husband, Khadim Shah, who is also an Instructor at Kumon Nolan Hill, is a huge support in my Kumon journey, and working as a team we believe in the mantra: "practice makes perfect" and urge all students to adopt a growth mindset in learning to achieve their goal.
I enjoy learning new things because it enables me to see things from a student's perspective and understand the emotional side of what it means to learn from mistakes. In my spare time, I love quiet morning walks, exercising, reading books, and listening to podcasts about mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. My lifelong goal is to become a source of making a difference in people’s lives.
