About Your Instructor
KERRI ARNOLD
Thank you for visiting my website! I'd love to share some background about myself. I grew up in New Jersey and graduated from George Washington University in 1991. I worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) in the audit division while obtaining my CPA license. I soon moved into the private industry for a Fortune 5 company based in NYC, where I simultaneously achieved my MBA from Stern School of Business in both Finance and Marketing.
During my 10 years in Corporate America, I worked in many divisions of Accounting, Budgeting and Finance where I developed my passion for building a business.
I've been a Darien resident since 1995 and my three (grown) kids attended the Darien public schools. While my kids were growing up, I stayed home and I was extensively involved in the Darien community, volunteering for significant roles on the Hindley Elementary School Parent Association, the Darien Depot Teen Center, the Parent Awareness Organization, the Darien Chamber of Commerce and helping raise funds for the Family and Children's Agency in Norwalk, CT. I spent years volunteering to teach Junior Great Books and Junior Achievement to Elementary school students. Now that I own a business, I devote my time to ensuring high quality service for my students, continually evaluating and improving all things Kumon.
My passion is playing tennis but I also love to spend time with my family at the beaches of Cape Cod and Nantucket as well as travel to see dear friends around the country.
I take huge pride in my Kumon Center and ensuring each of my students has a unique individualized lesson plan and moves at the perfect pace to ensure forward momentum while balancing mastery. I look forward to meeting you and your child(ren)!
