About Your Instructor

Cora Li

Prior to becoming a Kumon Instructor, I had been a market researcher for around 15 years. I hold a Bachelor of Science, major in Statistics and minor in Psychology from the University of Alberta. I am a true fan and advocate of personalized services, and have always enjoyed spending time around kids.

Once my kids started going to school, I realized how students with different abilities were having to learn at the same pace – leaving some students behind or bored depending on their abilities. This led me to become a Kumon Instructor, because of the unique and individualized approach of the Kumon Method.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending as much outdoor time as possible with my family – biking in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter (though only when it's above -20C!) – reading, watching thrillers, and playing board games. Balance is key!

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
