About Your Instructor
Samita Chowdhary
I hold a Ph.D. in Biology and have also earned a Provincial Instructor Diploma from Vancouver Community College in Vancouver. Over the past 12 years, I have had the opportunity to teach at both university and college levels.
Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed not only to academic instruction but also to contributing meaningfully to the broader community through education.
My introduction to Kumon came through my niece. Watching her learning journey sparked my interest in how the program builds strong foundations in both math and reading through consistent practice and self-learning. I was especially drawn to the way Kumon helps students develop confidence, discipline, and long-term academic skills that extend well beyond the classroom.
It is a privilege to now support students at my Kumon centre and to help them develop a genuine love for learning, stronger cognitive abilities, and the confidence to reach their full potential.
