About Your Instructor
Kimberly Teira
I have a BA in Accounting from William Patterson University. I have lived in Florida since 1990 and Saint Johns since 2001. We moved here for the school system. As a stay-at-home mom, I was very involved in the school system. I had a number of different roles such as PTO vice-president, parliamentarian, secretary, room parents, as well as being instructional in the implementation of Cunningham Creek Elementary Teacher's Book room. I volunteered in the ESE classes, helping students complete assignments.
Often, I had part time jobs to allow me to be home when my children were home. I was employed by the Sheriff's Department as a school crossing guard for seven years. Finally finding Kumon in 2013, after working with this program I realized this is something that all students could benefit from. So began my process to own my own Kumon Center, and become a Certified Kumon Instructor.
