About Your Instructor

Janlin Konishi

My name is Janlin Y. Konishi. I am the Kumon Instructor at the Ma’e Ma’e Center.

I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and have been living in the Nu'uanu area for the past 20 years. I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I started coming to this center over 20 years ago as a Kumon Aunty. I started working at this center over 10 years ago, and I’ve seen how much Kumon can help all children achieve their academic dreams.

I look forward to meeting your child/children and helping them see their potential. One of the greatest moments for me is when I see a student have their “aha” moment while doing their Kumon.

I will help your child/children become confident, independent, self-learning individuals who thrive in society.
