At Kumon Math and Reading Center of Metairie, your child will benefit from Neelu Bajaj's 18 years of experience as a Kumon Instructor, as well as a combined total of more than 70 years of experience between all of her staff members.
We want to assure you that the health and safety of our staff, students, and families is our top priority. We continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation closely and are following the guidance of government and health officials. To help ensure that our Center remains a safe environment, we will be taking the follow steps:
Center and Virtual Hours
To reduce the number of students in the classroom at any given time, we made some temporary changes to our center hours.
MONDAY 3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.
TUESDAY 2:30 P.M. – 6:30 P.M.
THURSDAY 3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.
SATURDAY 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
In addition to the changes to Center hours, we will strictly enforce student scheduling to limit the number of people in the center at once. All students should arrive promptly at their scheduled time and should not remain at the center past their appointment.
We are taking many steps to limit student interaction and keep the Center clean. We ask that you support our efforts by following the guidelines regarding student hygiene within the Center Cleanliness Policy. You can expect the following initiatives to protect all staff members, students, and families who visit the center.
- Temperature check using a touchless thermometer
- Plexiglass sneeze guards between each desk
- Fully disinfected tables, chairs, pencils and other items after each use
- Availability of hand sanitizers and disinfecting wipes/sprays
- Social distancing of tables and chairs
- Staff utilization of masks and face shields
Our goal is to support your children in their Kumon journey and limit interruptions to their study as much as possible. Continuous learning is the key to success in the Kumon Program, and we aim to support each of our students in achieving their goals. We ask for your cooperation in maintaining a clean and healthy environment and look forward to welcoming you back to the Center!
