Meet Our Centre Director – A Passionate Educator Committed to Your Child’s Success
As the Centre Director and Chief Instructor at Kumon, I bring not only years of experience as a high school teacher, but also a deep, personal passion for education. I understand the struggles many children face in school—lack of confidence, difficulty staying focused, or simply not knowing where to start. That’s why Kumon’s structured, step-by-step approach resonates so strongly with me: it meets students where they are, and helps them build the skills—and confidence—they need to go far.
My journey with Kumon has been both eye-opening and incredibly rewarding. I’ve seen students who once felt “behind” completely transform through regular practice and the right support. Even my own team of instructors, many of whom began as Kumon students, are living proof of how powerful this method can be.
At our centre, I focus on more than just worksheets and marks. I work closely with each student to help them:
Take ownership of their learning
Build strong study habits
Develop a growth mindset
These are the same skills that lead to success in school—and in life.
What truly drives me is watching a child go from “I can’t” to “I did it!” Whether it’s mastering a difficult concept or moving up a level, every step forward matters. I celebrate those wins with them—because I believe every student has the potential to succeed, with the right guidance and encouragement.
