About Your Instructor

Farnaz Fararooee

My name is Farnaz Fararooee and I would like to introduce myself as the instructor and franchise owner of the Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Oak Ridges.

I hold a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Shiraz University, but my true passion lies in education and working with children. Since 2016, I have proudly served as a Kumon Instructor, where I’ve had the joy of helping students grow both academically and personally.

I deeply believe in the Kumon Method—not just for its academic benefits, but for the invaluable life lessons it teaches. Through consistent practice and individualized learning, Kumon empowers children to become organized, responsible, and disciplined. It nurtures their ability to embrace challenges, develop independence, and become confident self-learners who never stop growing.

How Does the Assessment Work?

Your free assessment helps us understand your child’s current learning level so we can recommend the best starting point. During the assessment, your child will complete a placement test, and the instructor will review the results with you and explain how the Kumon Program can support your child’s individual learning needs.

There is no obligation to enroll, and you can reschedule your appointment at any time.
