About Your Instructor
Denio Di Lascio
Denio built a career as an executive in large corporations before moving into entrepreneurship, where he developed educational games for children across South and North America as well as Europe.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, along with formal specializations in Visual Arts and Instructional Design. In addition, he received extensive training through Team Mastery, the award-winning Tiimiakatemia program for team coaches in Finland.
More than a decade ago, Denio opened Kumon Port Moody, where he has supported and guided over a thousand families and children within the community.
A proud father of three adult children, Denio is also a lifelong surfer and a certified yoga teacher. Outside the classroom and the yoga studio, he can often be found hiking with his dog or plunging into the cold waters of Buntzen Lake with friends.
From 2015 to 2020, he also volunteered as a Coach Assistant with the Port Moody Soccer Club, where he had the opportunity to mentor young players aged 10 to 15 and share his passion for the game.
