For more than 60 years, Kumon's after-school academic enrichment program has helped children achieve success worldwide. We strive to instill in children the desire to achieve and the motivation to learn on their own. Whether your child is seeking enrichment, needs help catching up or is just beginning his/her academic career, Kumon is designed to help him/her develop a love of learning.

Students advance through the program at their own pace. Our emphasis on individualized learning helps your child become focused, motivated and self-reliant. We monitor each child's progress to ensure comprehension before moving on to a new concept. With a strong academic foundation, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, your child has the potential to achieve whatever he/she desires.

The Kumon Math Program is a comprehensive curriculum that develops the necessary skills to help children progress from counting through calculus. For more information about the Kumon Math Program, click here

The Kumon Reading Program begins with basic phonics and progresses all the way through advanced reading comprehension. For more information about the Kumon Reading Program, click here.

Policies

Kumon Parents agree and adhere to the following:

  • I understand that Kumon is not a quick fix but rather a long-term learning program and  it can take 9 - 18 months for a typical student to reach grade level.  Therefore, my goal is to keep my child enrolled and become a Kumon Program Completer so they can see, first hand, how the Kumon program has impacted their academic development.  The student must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 months in order for the deposit to be applied as last month tuition.
  • I understand that Kumon is a comprehensive learning program and that our family is making the time commitment necessary so that our child/children can become advanced learners.  Should we decide to withdraw, 30-days advanced written notice of discontinuation must be given or the deposit will be forfeited.  NOTE: any notice given on any day during the month, the next month’s tuition will be withdrawn in full and no tuition is refundable nor transferable for any reasons.
  • I understand that repetition of the worksheets is a part of the Kumon Method and that my child will repeat worksheets from time to time.  Through the Kumon Method, students gain ownership of the learning process, the confidence to set progressively higher goals, and the ability to perform beyond expectations.
  • I understand that my child is expected to attend class twice a week at his/her scheduled time on Monday & Thursday between 3:00 pm - 7 pm for approximately 30 minutes per subject.  Hence, it's my responsibility to notify the instructor in advance and make arrangements to drop off finished work and pick up new assignments if my child is unable to attend class.
  • I understand that all borrowed materials (answer keys, manual solutions, RRL books, CD, flashcards, etc.) must be returned in good condition, or my account will be charged $20 for each lost or damaged item.
  • I understand that additional $50 will be charged by the payment processor for each returned payment.
