Andrienna Yap
Hi, I’m Andrienna (Ann) — I’ve been a Kumon Instructor here in Richmond since 2012, but my journey with children started long before that. For many years, I ran kindergartens and after-school programs in Asia, and it was during that time that I realized something important: every child learns differently, but with the right guidance and encouragement, every child can succeed.
That’s what led me to Kumon. Over the past decade, I’ve had the joy of working with hundreds of kids, from preschoolers just learning their letters to teens tackling advanced math, and watching them grow in confidence has been the most rewarding part of my career.
At Kumon West Richmond, my goal is simple — to create a place where children feel supported, parents feel confident, and learning becomes a lifelong gift.
